One Semester Down, Thousands to Go

“Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain.” - Psalm 127:1
On December 15, 2021, with grateful hearts we celebrated the completion of our very first semester as a school! At this halfway point in the year, we are reviewing the game film from the first semester, making some minor halftime adjustments, and getting ready for a strong second half of the school year.
The students really enjoy being a part of Covenant Classical School! “Gratitude for school” usually makes our prayer list during morning Lauds.
We’ve also gotten some feedback from a few families regarding how the first semester went. One mother and teacher said, “The on-campus days are great! I love it! This year has been a tremendous blessing to my family and to me! I have needed to be more disciplined than in previous years. I would recommend it to other mothers with school-age children if they know their margin and abilities.”
Lastly, the collaborative model has been a good fit for our teachers too. Looking back over the first semester, our lower grammar teacher remarked, “It has been such a joy to teach. I never thought I would encounter the ‘joy of teaching’ that I desired for so long, but have truly enjoyed teaching at Covenant!”
Come and Build with Us
As we look to the future, we are praying for more families, educators, and resources to join our growing community. We are gearing up for fall 2022, and we are hoping to double or even triple our student body from year one to year two. So if you are interested in what we are doing as a school and you would like to get involved, then please come and build with us. The soil is fertile and the time is ripe!
And don’t forget to join us for our next interest meeting on Monday, March 7, at 7:00 p.m.! You can RSVP here.
